Water beads off, dries fast, handles wind well, durableMy 4th Blunt umbrella. Quality product.I live in a location of the United States that gets daily drenching downpours with accompanying wind. I also have to walk quite a ways outside from the parking lot at my work, which was absolutely miserable in the rainy season until I found this umbrella. This thing is a beast. One of my favorite parts is the umbrella holder that comes with a shoulder strap. So, when it's not raining, I can just sling the whole thing over my shoulder instead of having to carry the umbrella in my hand. It is a little on the expensive side, but I put an apple air tag on it to prevent losing it.No points to poke someone. Great size, very sturdy. Smooth operation when openingThis is the best umbrella I've ever held. I did a direct comparison with the $150 DavekNY Duet, and hand-down, I'd take this Blunt any day over the Davek. I could not get the Blunt to invert by shaking it/sharply pulling it towards me to create wind resistance. I tried, for probably a solid 2 minutes, until I got lightheaded and decided to stop.I like to go storm chasing, so this now lives by the door to get me to my car and on the road, and then dry-ish during who-knows-what kind of weather I might encounter. (I say dry-ish because there's only so much you can do with an umbrella when the wind is blowing sideways and you're wading through near-flood-levels of water.)Shoulder strap cheap plastic broke on first use. Cheap rivets to hold umbrella framing look cheap.This is more like a $50 top item. Item is glorified on reviews.It’s big, sturdy and premiumUsed the product for the first time today. Either Blunt do not do Quality Control or the reseller is supplying seconds. Failed miserably at its primary function - keeping the user dry. Incredibly not only did the seams leak water but more astoundingly the canopy itself oozed water too. I will ask for refund and will be writing to Blunt themselves for an explanation - totally unacceptable.Update - Blunt and Umbrella World called separately today - they are keen to rectify and for this alone I have increased my rating from 1 to 2 stars - everyone deserves a chance to make things right.
